Before lighting, check the fire rules.

This is weather guidance. Check local restrictions and conditions at your property.

Check fire rules ↗

Good to know.

How are weather windows chosen?

Your chosen 1–10 consecutive daylight hours: wind 3–15 km/h, gusts ≤20 km/h, rain ≤0.2 mm/hour, rain chance ≤30%, humidity ≥40%, temperature ≤28°C, no thunderstorms and a daylight endpoint. Matches rank by lower gusts, wind, then rain chance.

These unvalidated planning filters are not FENZ limits. They do not assess fuel dryness, fire danger or smoke dispersion.

Does a window mean I can burn?

No. Check fire restrictions, permits, council rules and actual property conditions. Incinerators are not automatically exempt.

Why no window?

Conditions may not meet the filters, or data may be incomplete. We never force a recommendation.

How reliable is the forecast?

These are model estimates; later days are less certain. Recheck before lighting and watch conditions throughout the burn.
